Thomas White

I believe that a successful public school system is a cornerstone of a healthy community. I was born and raised in Bridgeport, moving to Cheshire in 2020. My involvement in community activities and elected office in Bridgeport taught me lessons I will use to serve the Cheshire community.

As a member of the Cheshire Board of Education, I will support the Cheshire Public Schools Next Generation School Modernization Plan and ensure that the concerns of parents are heard.

Family: Wife, Lisa (married for 48 years). Daughter, Meredith Clark, Son-in-law Mike Clark (both high school teachers). Grandsons James (Doolittle 2nd grade) and Thomas (3 years old).

Occupation: Retired from People's Bank (Director of Purchasing, Assistant Treasurer) and City of Bridgeport (Legislative Services Director).
