Having lived in Cheshire for basically my entire life, my interest in participating within Town Government has reached the point of now making my voice heard. The past close to eighty year experience, blessed with living in an atmosphere of the freedoms outlined in our Founding Documents, has alerted my sense of awareness to the growing efforts to suspend those freedoms. Our community, its values, resources, educational opportunities and life style are being tested. We need the conversation to continue with increased tempo and participants.

My wife and I have been married for 51 bountiful years, nurturing two boys who now have produced 5 grandchildren in distant locations. Needless to say, when we have the opportunity to gaze into our grandchildren's eyes, responsibilities for the present and projections for the future arise to prominence.

My education experience has been an eclectic one, 1 yr. at a local college, 2 years at UCONN, and 3 years at California State University, Northridge Ca., never settling on a consistent interest. Traveled/lived throughout the Northwest as far as Vancouver, BC and Idaho (lookout tower/fire suppression) to Texas, providing for our family as an independent General & Design Build Contractor for 50 years.

The Cheshire Town Council has done excellent work navigating our community to a solid economic, social value, and educational level envied by it's peers. I wish to contribute.
